2. These terms These terms and conditions apply to your use of www.doodeyewear.com and to any order you place with us. By placing an order you confirm that you accept them, so please read them carefully. We may update these terms from time to time; the version that applies to your order is the one published on our website at the time you order.
3. Placing an order When you place an order you are making an offer to buy. We will send an order acknowledgement by email, but your order is only accepted — and a contract formed — when we email to confirm that your item has been dispatched. If we are unable to accept your order (for example, an item is out of stock or there has been a pricing error), we will let you know and will not charge you, or will refund any payment already taken.
4. Pricing and payment Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where it applies. We take care to ensure prices are correct, but if we discover an error in the price of items you have ordered we will contact you to ask whether you wish to continue at the correct price. We accept all major credit and debit cards and PayPal, and payment is taken at the time of order.
5. Our products Our frames are handcrafted from acetate, and natural variation in the material means each piece may differ very slightly in colour and pattern from the images shown. This is a characteristic of acetate, not a fault. We make every effort to display colours accurately but cannot guarantee that your device shows them exactly.
6. Delivery We deliver in line with our Shipping Policy. Delivery timescales are estimates rather than guarantees, although we always aim to meet them. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
7. Cancellations, returns and refunds If you are a consumer, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your item, in line with our Returns & Refund Policy and your statutory rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if goods are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose.
8. Faulty items If an item is faulty or not as described, please contact us promptly and we will offer a repair, replacement or refund as appropriate and as required by law.
9. Intellectual property All content on this website — including the Dood Eyewear name, logo, designs, images and text — is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use it without our written permission.
10. Our liability We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses, where you are using our products for personal use.
11. Events outside our control We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as postal delays, extreme weather or supply disruption. If such an event occurs we will contact you and aim to minimise any delay.
12. Privacy We handle your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy.
13. Governing law These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
